  • Glynis Ablon, MD

    Glynis Ablon, M.D., F.A.A.D., is a board certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon, who completed her training at Baylor School of Medicine in Houston, Texas.  Dr. Ablon is an Associate Clinical Professor at UCLA, practicing at both UCLA and LCMH.   She is active in clinical research and the first published author in the United States in mesotherapy.  Dr. Ablon is an on-camera medical consultant for The Doctors Show, E! Entertainment, Extra, ABC, CBS, KCAL and Lifetime.  She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Liposuction Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and American Hair Research Society.  Dr. Ablon also received the IMCAS Research Award 2010 for innovative research on Botulinum Toxins.

  • Andrew F. Alexis, MD, MPH

    Andrew F. Alexis, MD, MPH is a Professor of Clinical Dermatology and Vice-Chair for Diversity and Inclusion at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City. He is the former Chair of the Department of Dermatology at Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West. Having served as Director of the first-of-its-kind Skin of Color Center for over 15 years, his work has helped to advance patient care, research, and education pertaining to dermatologic disorders that are prevalent in populations with skin of color.

  • Hilary Baldwin, MD

    Hilary Baldwin is a board-certified dermatologist and medical director of the Acne Treatment & Research Center in Brooklyn, NY. She is a clinical associate professor of dermatologist at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center. Dr. Baldwin has interests in acne, rosacea, keloidal scarring, cosmeceuticals and the skin microbiome. She is a frequent national and international lecturer and visiting professor, and her work has been published extensively in dermatology journals. Dr. Baldwin served as a founding board member and second president of the American Acne and Rosacea Society.

  • Apple Bodemer, MD

    Apple Bodemer is a Professor of Dermatology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She is Board Certified in Dermatology, Integrative Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.  She is a core faculty for the Integrative Dermatology Certificate Program, Integrative Skin Health Series and the Integrative Esthetician Certificate Program through LearnSkin.  She has authored chapters on Integrative Dermatology in key textbooks and written curriculum for the University of Arizona Integrative Medicine program as well as for the National Veterans Association Whole Health Initiative. 

    She has worked with several media platforms and has worked with organizations including The Plantrician Project, The Food Revolution Network, and MindBodyGreen.

  • Whitney Bowe, MD

    Dr. Whitney Bowe is a renowned board-certified dermatologist, research scientist, founder + CEO of Dr. Whitney Bowe Beauty, and creator of the viral Skin Cycling Program. One of the most in-demand dermatologists in the country, Dr. Bowe's practice has been fully booked for over 7 years, and she is regularly invited to share her expertise on national platforms like Good Morning America, The New York Times, and Vogue.

  • Suneel Chilukuri, MD, FASDS, FASLMS

    Dr. Suneel Chilukuri is an internationally recognized cosmetic dermatologic surgeon specializing in the C-Lift, a non-surgical facelift technique. He is known for creating innovative techniques to fully restore and enhance the face and body without surgery. Most recently he received a national award for Nonsurgical Body Contouring utilizing his signature Silhouette Body Procedure. As a sought-after speaker at both international and national conferences regarding cosmetic surgery, he has taught at more than 400 aesthetic seminars.

  • Raj Chovatiya, MD, PhD, MSCI

    Raj Chovatiya, MD, PhD, MSCI is Clinical Associate Professor at Rosalind Franklin University Chicago Medical School and Founder and Director of the Center for Medical Dermatology + Immunology Research in Chicago, Illinois. His clinical and research focus includes the intersection of cutaneous immunology and inflammatory disease. He received his MD and PhD in immunology from Yale and completed his residency, postdoctoral research fellowship, and MS in Clinical Investigation at Northwestern University where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Chovatiya has a particular interest in optimizing patient-centered care, understanding chronic disease burden especially in understudied inflammatory diseases, exploring health and social disparities, and improving care across diverse skin types. He has published numerous abstracts and manuscripts and has been nationally and internationally recognized for his contributions as a clinician, educator, researcher, and leader.

  • Doris Day, MD

    Doris Day, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in cosmetic and dermatology on the Upper East Side in New York City. She is a clinical associate professor of dermatology at the New York University Medical Center where she was presented with the award for Dedication and Excellence in the Teaching of Dermatology. She has also won the American Skin Association award for mentorship in dermatology and the AAD Presidential Citation in recognition of her dedication and leadership in the field of aesthetic dermatology. She was most recently named by Newsweek as the #3 top cosmetic dermatologist in the US.

    She has won awards for her work in laser research and continues to actively participate in FDA clinical research trials and publish in peer reviewed medical journals. Dr. Day regularly lectures nationally and internationally to her peers and the public. She is an active member of many organizations including the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.

    Dr. Day also has a master’s degree in medical journalism and is host of the Dermatology Show on Doctor Radio on Sirius/XM 110 for over 15 years and has frequent appearances on many national media outlets and podcasts. She is the author of four books, her most recent book is Rebooting the Biome.

  • James Q. Del Rosso, DO, FAOCD, FAAD

    Dr. James Q. Del Rosso, DO, FAOCD, FAAD, was born in Brooklyn, New York, and attended pharmacy school at St. John's University in Jamaica, New York. He completed a hospital pharmacy residency at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Del Rosso graduated from medical school at Ohio University with honors and then completed his approved dermatology residency at the Atlantic Skin Disease Association in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

  • Zoe Draelos, MD

    Zoe Diana Draelos, MD, is a research and clinical board-certified dermatologist. In 1988, she founded Dermatology Consulting Services, PLLC, to initiate and perform research in the cosmetic, OTC drug, and pharmaceutical arenas. She received the prestigious Maison deNavarre award from the Society of Cosmetic Chemists for her contributions to the art and science of cosmetics in 2017. In 2019, she was the inaugural recipient of the Florence Wall Award from the Society of Cosmetics Chemists honoring her as the most influential woman in cosmetic science.

  • Cheri Frey, MD

    Dr. Cheri Frey is an assistant professor of dermatology at Howard University, where she also serves as the Residency Program Director, Skin of Color Research Fellowship Co-director, Beacon of Hope Fellow in Clinical Trials, and Director of Cosmetic Dermatology.

    Dr. Frey was born in Washington, DC. She was a National Achievement Scholar, earning a full merit scholarship to Iowa State University where she graduated with distinction. Dr. Frey earned her medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and completed her internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at the University of Florida. Dr. Frey served as chief resident and was a recipient of the Outstanding Resident Teacher Award as an intern and dermatology resident.

  • Pearl E. Grimes, MD

    Dr. Pearl Grimes is the Founder and Director of the Vitiligo and Pigmentation Institute of Southern California and Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the David Geffen School of Medicine, University of California – Los Angeles. She is a pioneer and a leading international authority on vitiligo and pigmentary disorders. Dr. Grimes is the current President of the Global Vitiligo Foundation. The Foundation has recently launched Camp Victory for Children with Vitiligo as well as the Vitiligo Physician Education Summit and a global support platform connecting vitiligo patients around the world.

  • Julie Harper, MD

    Dr. Julie Harper is a board-certified dermatologist, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the owner of the Dermatology and Skin Care Center of Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Harper is a Founding Director of the American Acne and Rosacea Society, which was organized in 2005, and served as the organization’s President from 2017-2019. She has published and lectured on the subjects of acne and rosacea nationally and internationally.

  • Karan Lal, DO, MS, FAAD

    Originally from New York City, he grew up in Queens and attended Hunter Science High School in Manhattan. He graduated summa cum laude from the New York Institute of Technology, where he completed a rigorous seven-year accelerated combined medical program. He was selected to be an academic medical scholar, during which he received a Master of Science in neuroscience and a scholarship for three years of medical school and graduate training. He was elected to the Sigma Sigma Phi and Psi Sigma Alpha medical honor societies.

    He completed his internal medicine internship at the University of Connecticut Medical Center where he was elected intern of the year. He completed a three-year dermatology residency at the University of Massachusetts, where he was elected chief resident. He continued at the University of Massachusetts to complete a pediatric dermatology fellowship, where he gained an interest in vascular anomalies, pediatric laser, and dermatologic surgery of pediatric patients. Dr. Lal specializes in pediatric and adult dermatology, laser surgery, soft tissue filler augmentation, body sculpting, melanocyte keratinocyte transplant surgery for vitiligo and hypopigmentation, pigmentary abnormalities of the skin and enjoys treating patients from birth onwards. He is an expert in atopic dermatitis, vitiligo, melasma, psoriasis, and hidradenitis and has worked in specialty clinics among experts. He is the only board-certified pediatric and fellowship-trained cosmetic dermatologist in the country.

  • Peter Lio, MD

    Peter Lio, MD, FAAD is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology & Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Lio received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, completed his internship in Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital, and his Dermatology training at Harvard where he served as Chief Resident in Dermatology. While at Harvard, he received formal training in acupuncture. Dr. Lio is the founding director of the Chicago Integrative Eczema Center and a founding partner of Medical Dermatology Associates of Chicago. He serves as a board member and scientific advisory committee member emeritus for the National Eczema Association. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology’s Atopic Dermatitis Expert Resource Group and a founding faculty member of the Integrative Dermatology Certificate Program. He has over 300 publications and 3 textbooks.

  • Rahul Mehta, PhD

    Dr. Rahul C. Mehta received his Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences at West Virginia University, USA and his Bachelors of Pharmacy from the University of Bombay. He has over 35 years of experience in pharmaceutical research and development including 6 years of academic research. He has authored or co-authored over 80 research publications and book chapters, over 200 poster presentations and multiple patents in pharmaceutical sciences. Dr. Mehta is currently Co-Founder and CEO of a biopharma company applying learnings from longevity science to dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Prior to that he was part of the SkinMedica team since 2005 and is committed to the creation of holistic multi-modality evidence-based skincare products with strong biological and clinical support. His passion is to go beyond the current approach of treating symptoms of aging to understand the biological mechanism of skin aging, skin quality changes and effect of diversity on aging with a goal of enabling skin’s natural regenerative processes to provide physiologically balanced skin rejuvenation.

  • Julia Oh, PhD

    Julia Oh received her B.A. from Harvard University, her Ph.D. in genetics from Stanford University, and postdoctoral training at the National Institutes of Health. She is now a professor at Duke University. Dr. Oh is a microbiome expert with a focus on combining high-resolution computational reconstructions of the microbiome with microbial engineering to devise innovative approaches to create new therapeutic interventions and investigate the underlying ecology of skin microbial communities.

  • Iris Rubin, MD

    Dr. Iris Rubin is the founder of SEEN--a patented, award-winning, good for skin hair care line that's science-backed and mission-driven.

    Dr. Rubin received her undergraduate degree with honors from Stanford University, and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She did her dermatology residency at the University of Chicago and Harvard Medical School, and served as academic chief resident at Harvard. She completed a laser surgery fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Wellman Center for Photomedicine.

    Prior to launching SEEN, Dr. Rubin’s previous positions include Medical Director of the Dermatologic and Vascular Laser Surgery Program at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C., Dermatologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, and a faculty member at Harvard Medical School.

    Dr. Rubin has been an invited speaker at meetings sponsored by the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), Washington D.C. Dermatological Society, and Children’s National Medical Center.

  • Raja Sivamani, MD, MS, AP

    Dr. Raja Sivamani is a board-certified dermatologist, bioengineer, and Ayurvedic practitioner. He practices at his medical clinic Pacific Skin Institute and his aesthetic clinic Zen Dermatology. He is the Director of Research at Integrative Skin Science and Research and the Integrative Research Institute where he leads many clinical research studies in areas such as pharmaceuticals, nutrition, topical ingredients, the gut-skin axis, epigenetics and the microbiome. He serves as affiliated faculty at the University of California, Davis and the California Northstate University. He merges modern research and science with a passion for integrative dermatology. Dr. Sivamani has over 165 peer-reviewed publications and serves as one of the lead editors for the educational platform LearnSkin and the annual Integrative Dermatology Symposium.

  • Jerry Tan, MD, FRCPC

    Dr. Tan graduated in medicine from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and trained in internal medicine at the University of Toronto. He trained in dermatology at University of British Columbia and University of Michigan. He practices in Windsor Ontario Canada. Research focus includes acne, acne scars and rosacea. He has an interest in shared decision making and his group has developed patient decision aids in dermatology – on acne, psoriasis, rosacea and hidradenitis suppurativa – available at www.informed-decisions.org

    He is the past President of the Acne and Rosacea Society of Canada, co-chair of the Acne Core Outcomes Research Network (ACORN), a co-author of acne guidelines for the AAD, Canada, Singapore and the Emirates and has been an associate editor of the JAAD and the BJD. Over the past 3 decades, he has authored/co-authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications.

  • Ruth Tedaldi, MD

    Ruth Ehrman Tedaldi, MD is a dermatologist who specializes in aesthetic dermatology in Wellesley, Massachusetts.  Having trained at Massachusetts General Hospital and Weill Cornell College of Medicine, she is currently a member of the medical staff at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, as well as the founding partner of Dermatology Partners, Inc in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She has been involved in multiple aesthetic clinical trials and is proud to have worked with many of the cutting edge research and development teams in the aesthetic field of medicine. Her passion for the past 7 years has focused on cosmeceutical use and serves as a medical advisor of Regimen Pro, an on-line skin care dispensary site that delivers doctor-recommended products to patients. Dr Tedaldi is the founding member of The Gist Show on You Tube whose aim is to raise public awareness of all aspects of aesthetic medicine.

  • Eugenia Trushina, PhD

    Dr. Trushina is a Professor in the Department of Neurology and the Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics at the Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN. She received her doctoral degree in organic chemistry from Saratov State University in Russia. Dr. Trushina completed her postdoctoral training at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester studying redox chemistry related to nitric oxide and mechanisms of mitochondrial dynamics and function in Huntington’s Disease. Dr. Trushina translational research program is focused on the mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, particularly as they intersect with studies on aging and metabolic disorders, and mitochondria-targeted therapeutics. Her group developed neuroprotective treatment for Alzheimer’s Disease, which resulted in four US Patents. Application of this novel therapeutics also have been shown beneficial to protect cells from injuries associated with environmental exposure, promoting cell repair and rejuvenation. Dr. Trushina is a recipient of multiple grants from the NIH, BrightFocus, GHR, ADDF, and Mayo Clinic Research Awards.

  • Giuseppe Valacchi, PhD

    Giuseppe Valacchi is David H. Murdock Distinguished Professor and Professor of Regenerative Medicine at the North Carolina State University. His research has been focused on understanding the cellular and molecular redox mechanisms that define the tissues’ physio-pathological responses to endogenous and exogenous factors (Exposome) with a special focus on target tissues such as the skin and respiratory tract.

  • Jill Waibel, MD

    Dr. Waibel practices as a Board Certified Dermatologist specializing in general dermatology, cutaneous laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology. She is in private practice in Miami, Florida. She is a world-recognized leader in dermatologic laser surgery and lectures all over the world to train other physicians.

  • Steve Wang, MD

    Dr. Steven Q. Wang currently serves as the Director of Dermatologic Oncology at the Hoag Family Cancer Institute, and Chief of Dermatologic Oncology & Dermatologic Surgery at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian Hospital in Newport Beach, California. Prior to joining Hoag, he served for 16 years as the Head of Dermatology Section and Director of Dermatologic Surgery and Dermatology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New Jersey. He was also an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin cancers, especially melanoma. His research has been focused on melanoma detection, application of artificial intelligence, and nanotechnologies. He has published more than 90 scientific papers and book chapters. He has authored 5 books. Dr. Wang has lectured extensively in the United States and around the world. Dr. Wang is the co-founder of the Nanodermatology Society, and serves as the president of the Photodermatology Society, and Chair of the Photobiology Committee of the Skin Cancer Foundation.

  • Jacqueline Watchmaker, MD

    Dr. Jacqueline Watchmaker is a Board-Certified Dermatologist who practices medical and cosmetic dermatology. She currently practices at the Center for Aesthetic and Laser Medicine in Scottsdale Arizona. Dr. Watchmaker is originally from Wisconsin and earned her medication degree from Medical College of Wisconsin. In medical school she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She then completed dermatology residency at Boston University in Massachusetts where she served as chief resident during her final year.

    Following residency Dr. Watchmaker was accepted to a Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology fellowship the at Skincare Physicians in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. In fellowship she developed expertise in the field of aesthetic medicine. Dr. Watchmaker has written multiple book chapters, published many research papers in peer-reviewed medical journals and conducted numerous clinical trials. Additionally, Dr. Watchmaker has presented at many national and international meetings.

  • Heather Woolery-Lloyd, MD

    Heather Woolery-Lloyd, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and founder of DermFriends, an innovative platform focused on skincare education. With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Woolery-Lloyd has earned recognition as a sought-after speaker at national and international dermatology conferences. She has authored over 70 peer-reviewed papers and has been featured in various publications, including The New York Times, Forbes, and The Wall Street Journal. Dr. Woolery-Lloyd is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) where she was recently honored with the AAD's Presidential Citation for her commitment to education and research in dermatology.

  • Saranya Wyles, MD, PhD

    Saranya Wyles, M.D., Ph.D. is a board-certified dermatologist, and regenerative medicine specialist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She is Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Regenerative Medicine. In addition to leading her cosmetic dermatology practice, Dr. Wyles is the Director of the Regenerative Dermatology and Skin Aging laboratory, which focuses on developing novel regenerative biotherapeutics for skin restoration, and utilizes 3D bioprinting technology to model skin disease and skin aging.
